I'm looking for a loving permanent home for my cat Moe, where his friendly personality can shine. Moe is FIV positive and is an only indoor cat because of this. He has grown up with his brother (who is not FIV positive), a dog and a baby, so he’ll have no problem in a home with other cats, dog(s) or children. He is curious and bold, but has a very loving side to him. He’s especially playful and loves his toys. He has never had any FIV related issues. He is neutered and has a micro-chip.

Hi! I'm "Cool Kitty" Charlie. I was found outside, hungry and scared in Blairstown, NJ, but I'm such a lovable purr bug! I LOVED being inside from the minute they brought me in to my foster home. I love headbumping my people, and being petted and brushed on my big smiling cheeks. I have big beautiful eyes that are both green and yellow so they usually look a beautiful pale sea green. I have the roundest moon shaped face, and for a while they just called me "cool kitty," because I have such cool swirls and circles in my tabby pattern! I also found out that I LOVE toys! I'm so silly and cute!
Unfortunately, my life outside was a little rough, and it turns out that I am FIV+. My vet says I am super healthy, and will probably live a very long life. Now that I'm neutered, if I live inside full time, there's very little risk to me or other kitties. I hope this won't stop you from considering giving me a chance! My foster parents can give you lots of information about FIV in cats if you have any questions about it, and my vet will be happy to discuss all about my health with you. :))
Even though I lived outside, I don't spray, and I always use my box. I absolutely love napping in the sun. Mealtime will always be my favorite, so watch out for me as I wrap myself around your legs while you try to fix me dinner. I'll run to greet you! Please take me home furrever so I can curl up on the couch and keep your legs warm!

My daughter has fostered two FeLV Cats Pie and Puff (brothers less than 1 year old, both neutered) in her apt. in NYC for the last 8 months while showing them each weekend at an adoption site in the city. Due to changed circumstances, a new foster or permanent adoption needs to be found by mid-July.

The striped cat is Jack. We took him in last fall when he starting coming around to eat. He was pretty skinny but has definitely gotten a little chunky - he now weighs in at nearly 15 pounds! Jack loves to play, sit in your lap, and play with his toy mouse. He is pretty high energy and may do well as the only cat, since he can be territorial. Now that he is an indoor cat, he may act differently towards other cats since he is not fighting for food or survival. He is very loving and energetic and would make a great companion. Jack is FIV positive. I know there is a stigma attached with this disease but please realize that cats diagnosed with FIV can live long healthy lives. You cannot tell that Jack has been infected because he shows no signs of being sick and otherwise has no health problems. He is current on vaccinations, has been wormed, neutered, and treated with Frontline. Due to his FIV, Jack has been kept inside with us and hasn't complained once!
The white cat with brown striped patches is Sam. Sam only recently starting coming around to eat. There is another stray that we feed outside and Sam does not get along with this cat. He got pretty roughed up so I had to take him in. The only place for us to keep him is caged in the garage since we are at full capacity and Jack has the spare room. I hate the thought of Sam being in the cage all day. Sam is also FIV positive. He loves attention and to rub his face against yours. Sam is very loving and playful. Obviously I cannot release him due to the risk of being injured or infecting other cats. Sam is neutered, wormed, current on shots, and has been treated with Frontline.

This is Ian. He's a very lovable and healthy young boy; who unfortunately is FeLV+. He's very mellow and gets along well with other cats. He loves to spend his time lounging around basking in the sun. He enjoys life to the fullest; taking time to smell the roses (or catnip).
He deserves to be in a forever home where he doesn't need to be isolated from other cats. He really is such a sweet boy; he loves nothing more than being loved. He isn't pushy (as some cats can be), he waits patiently for his cuddling time.
Ian really is one of the nicest cats you could hope to meet. If you already have a FeLV+ cat, he would be a great addition to your home. For those without a feline friend at the moment, this charmer would brighten your life with his silly antics. He is very healthy and at only 1 year old; he has plenty of life in him.
Ian is located in Massachusetts. The best way to contact him (or us) is by email at canterburytails@verizon.net . 413-967-4545

BJ needs a forever home.
This cat was rescued after being abandoned for at least a year. He was going to be released but I could not let them do that because he was hurt. Then it was discovered he has FIV. He is also not a feral, but starting to be very friendly. He is estimated to be about 3-4 years of age.
He has had his teeth cleaned and a few pulled, had some extra infected dewclaws removed, and has had blood work which is all good! His legs were shaved because he had some bad scratches and they look a little silly, but the hair is growing back. There is also a wound on his face, which is healing nicely. The vets guessed he may have been hit by a car (broken teeth), bitten by a dog, and the usual cat fights! Due to his injuries, they would not give him a rabies shot, but he can get that in 2-3 months. He has received his distemper, has been dewormed, does not have ear mites and has been deflead.
He would need a home without children, as he can get easily frightened still. He will hiss to let you know he is afraid, but gets over it quickly. He uses his litter box like a perfect gentleman! His favorite game is to chase a sweat pant tie/string around as you drag it. He loves catnip! He may never be a lap cat (but with a little time, who knows). He has come a long way in just the few months we have had him!!
I have had FIV and non-FIV cats together before and was planning on keeping him myself, but my cat Buddy will not accept him.
If anyone would like to come and meet this sweet cat, I am sure he would like to meet you! He is located in Auburn, MA. There is a small rehoming fee and an adoption application to fill out.

I’m called straygirl. I am a Maincoon mix cat. Apparently, I’ve been a bit of a nomad in my 2-3 years of life, but I really would like to settle down with a nice family. My few years of wild living have finally caught up with me and I’m finding that I really do like having a soft, dry, warm, cozy, and inside place to sleep at night.
So far as I can remember, I was once in a home where they kindly had me spayed (or at least I have a scar that seems to prove it). But somewhere along the way, I ended up on the streets and was exposed to FIV (probably in a food fight with another cat). Fortunately, I’ve not caught any other kitty illnesses, so I’m as healthy and happy as I can be. Even though I am in the DOG house, they are letting me stay inside so that I can continue to have the kind of life that I deserved to begin with. I sure am glad to not have to fight with the street cats and it’s also good to get a regular meal (though sometimes I push it and cry for a little more food just to be sure I’m going to have enough until the next meal hits the bowl). I also like having my chin scratched . . . that is just bonus-time as far as I’m concerned!
The vet says I should expect to live a normal, healthy life. That sounds awfully good to me since I’m liking this inside-thing so much.
So, if you have room for me in your home, I’m ready to be your baby girl. I come with a vet report (including current vaccines), a litter box, a scratching post, and a few other toys and accessories. Not too shabby for a street cat, huh?

Billie Holladay - DSH Black & White; Raleigh, NC; Female; 8 months
I'm a beautiful tuxedo teenager who has tested positive for the feline leukemia virus, which affects a cat's immune system. If the virus blooms in me, it means I could become seriously ill quickly & die before my time.
Because of that I know committing to love me is a risk. And I know that somewhere down the line losing me could cause you pain. Right now I'm so healthy & frisky & eager. I yearn to play & romp, get chin scratches & stretch full length without touching a wire wall.
Let me stress that what I have definitely cannot be transmitted to you, to your children, your dogs or other non-feline pets.
Follow your heart. Seize the moment & make it count as I do daily. After all life comes with no guarantees. What matters is what we do with what we're given. Come take me home today.
To help Billie find a wonderful forever home, SAFE Haven will provide at no cost to her adopter all medical care that Billie might need in the future.Contact - Sherri Orner, 919-872-7233, info@safehavenforcats.org

This is Marcia from Brown County Humane Society.
Last July Sampson was found as a stray kitten and brought to the shelter. He tested FeLV+/FIV-. We have been trying to place him since that time. We don't euthanize FeLV+ kitties unless they are very ill already." Sampson here, I am only allowed out of my cage after all the other kitties' cages have been cleaned and before the floor is mopped with disinfectant. Being a young adult, I have energy to spare & love to play. You may have figured out already that I am very friendly. I hate sitting in a cage 99% of my life.
I want to have catnip parties, watch birds, chase furry mice and sleep in the sun. Have a person of my own."Please contact Brown County Humane Society; www.bchumane.org 812-988-7362 Barbara Wills [catshavenltd@sbcglobal.net]

I am on the board of directors for a cat rescue group called Cat Call, Inc., in Hillsborough County , FL.
We rescue THOUSANDS of cats each year via adoption (and also actively participate in TNR of ferals), but currently find ourselves in a bad situation, and hoping your group can help.
Maddox was found hungry, hanging out with a colony of cats. I took him to Dale Mabry Animal Hospital , when I realized he had been in a fight, resulting in an abscess (that burst) on his side.
CatCall had originally planned on having the injury treated, getting him neutered/vaccinated/chipped, and placing him up for adoption.
FIV isn't such a big deal to us, but the FELV is a different story.
Unfortunately, since he tested POS for FELV via a Snap test, and IFA test, we cannot place him into our adoption/foster program.
This is a very sad situation because other than the recent fight wound (which has been treated, and is healing fine), he is showing no signs of illness. He is SUCH a love, very curious, and full of energy.
He is currently being kenneled at Dale Mabry Hospital in Tampa . However, due to the kenneling/treatment expense, we must make a decision as to his fate very soon. If no one steps forward to give Maddox a home, we will be forced to have him euthanized.

Garbanzo and Soya were born on August 4 2009 and are currently 3 months old. They have been happy and healthy kittens since birth. They are an adorable, mackerel tabby brother and sister pair. They enjoy being held, being petted, and playing non stop. They are social kittens who enjoy running, jumping, and wrestling each other. These two kittens are very close to each other. They are perfect kittens in just about every way. However, they have tested positive for feline leukemia due to exposure from their mother.
I want these kittens to have a chance to grow up and live as long as their bodies will let them live. Most kittens with feline leukemia live for 9-18 months. These kittens and their mother were rescued by me and a few other concerned individuals. All of my foster cats typically go to an area no kill shelter, but this shelter and the other area shelters are not able to take this family due to their feline leukemia. I do not have the space to keep these kittens forever. They are currently living in my bathroom. I can't give them more space because I have three senior cats of my own. These kitties need their own family with undevoted attention and space. Please email Michelle at msweet612@yahoo.com
The kittens are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and dewormed. They are FIV negative. msweet612@yahoo.com

I live on Long Island and have just found out from my vet that the cat I found two weeks ago is HIV positive. Because I do Trap, Neuter and Release with SAVES which helps feral cats on Long Island, I'm not able to devote the time or money it would take to care for this particular animal. He had to have been someone's pet because he so loving. All he wants is to be fed, picked up, petted and held. He's a beautiful all white adult, neutered male. I believe he was dropped off because people know that I care for cats. I also have five inside cats and care for the feral population that has been neutered.

Alastair, my double positive Siamese mix sweetheart
I am in the East Bay area of the San Francisco Bay Area. I live in Castro Valley, California. Alastair tested positive for FIV AND FeLv. He is a sweetheart of a cat, probably about 2 years old. He was not neutered, but has now been neutered. He is NOT sick and is very playful. When a friend came over, he walked from one lap to the other. He loves to jump into my lap and put his front paws up around my neck. He is really a lap cat, and while he is playful and loves his toys, he also loves to settle down on my lap. Unfortunately, I do cat rescue and have a house full of cats already, and poor Alastair is confined to a large dog crate except for a little time each day when all the other cats have left the cat room, at which time I can let him out and play with him before putting him back in his dog crate. He seems to have a fair amount of energy, but is a pretty mellow cat who settles down easily. He, along with all the other cats on this site, deserve good homes. Surely there is someone out there who is experienced with these very special kitties, who could take a couple from this website, including sweet Alastair. He wants to be able to play with the other cats, but really needs another FeLv+ cat to play with. I don't know how he is with dogs. Overall, this little guy is a dreamboat who I wish I could keep. He is a real snuggler who, I am sure, would like nothing better than to snuggle in bed with his new main squeeze. If someone is interested, please have them call Deborah at 510/537-8076 or 510/895-4238 Work. I will make arrangements to get him to a good home, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area, but anywhere in California or one of the Western states. Of course, all adoption protocol would need to be followed, and there is a small donation to help defray expenses of getting him neutered and tested. I am more than willing to help in any way possible to make the right adoption work. Deborah MacDonald DeborahMacDonald@msn.com
Dottie is about 2.5 years young. She was found walking up and down a street in Harlem, trying to get someone to notice her. She had a large open wound on her leg and looked to be pregnant,
so one of our volunteers took her in. Turns out she wasn't pregnant, but she did test positive for FELV/FIV. This does not sit well on Dottie's resume, so she has been overlooked for some time now. We
are hoping to find a loving home for Dottie, as she really deserves it. Her life has been tough. Dottie has been spayed, given all of her shots, and her wound has since healed. She is a very healthy and happy cat (please research FELV/FIV - if considering adoption - to learn more). She loves playing,
EATING, and hunting! She sits in very funny positions (she's not as chubby as she makes herself look), loves to be pet (except near her tail), & LOVES SNUGGLING (especially at bedtime)! We would love to see her go to a home with an experienced cat-lover. Are you willing to give Dottie the chance that she deserves? If so, please call Christy at: (646) 573-8605. Thanks!
Stormy is a charming conversationalist who started living in my storm drain on 6-9-09. He followed me around like a puppy and I not only fed him, but spent a few hours each day petting him and getting to know his amazing personality. Stormy prefers humans over cats, which is why he would never go in my house, despite pawing at the door (I have three cats). A Veterinary friend agreed to let Stormy stay at her hospital (Sarasota Veterinary Emergency Hospital) while I desperately searched for a loving home for him. While there, it was discovered that he is FIV+, which has further hampered my efforts to find the right home for him. I am willing to drive Stormy anywhere in the country if that means he will get the loving home he deserves. To see videos of Stormy, please check out the following link:

Frasier is a 1 1/2 year old male orange tabby. Frasier tested positve for FELV, but that doesn't stop him. This cat is full of life and love. His favorite activities include chasing toys, climbing cat trees, and snuggling in warm laps. Frasier is a fun boy that likes to follow people around...he is very curious and playful. Frasier gets along ok with younger cats, but becasue of his FELV may need to be an only cat. Fraiser is neutered and has had 2 FVRCP vaccines. Frasier does not want to spend anymore time in a cage at the shelter...he is ready for his forever home.

'FLORIDA JINX' DLH, Charcoal, Male, 1.5 yrs old, fully vetted, neutered, microchipped. 06-05-2009
Meet Jinx...He is a handsome big boy and gentle as they come. Jinx was found in Florida while his foster dad was on a business trip. He was in very bad shape. After a visit to the vet, onto a plane, (in first class no less!!) and home to New Jersey. Saved from a life on the streets. Unfortunately, this boy tested positive for Feline Leukemia. He needs to go to a single pet home or other Leuk positive kitties. But he has no symptons and is healthy as an Ox! Jinx enjoys basking in the sun by the sliding glass doors, playing on his scratching post, and just hanging out with the humans. He would be ok with kids, but we're not sure about dogs. A sweeter boy you will never find, and just look at that beautiful coat! If you are interested in this pet, please take the first step and complete our pre-adoption application located at www.patsyspetstop.com'
click on 'adoption' and submit the form. Questions on this pet can be emailed to patsyspetresq@aol.com. Please keep in mind...An adoption fee is required; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; out-of-state adoptions will require extra time for approval; an application does not guarantee an adoption; once application is approved an appointment can be made to meet the pet.
I found a one month old black kitten on my deck yesterday. I have attached a picture of her. She is a female kitten with Panleukopenia. I took her to the vet today and they diagnosised her with the disorder. They told me that she contracted the disease from her mother. Shes a great little kitten. She eats and drinks fine and she definitely is a little fireball. I've played with her all day and she seems to enjoy every minute of it. I cannot take her in so I was wondering if there was anyway to get her into a great home that can give her what she needs as soon as possible.
Thank You, Kelsey Berger 1342 Baldwin Road Milford, Oh 45150 (513) 659-9704
I have a stray male kitty who is about 2 years and has been diagnosed with feline leukemia. He was found at my sister’s apartment complex in Ohio. I have been there three times since February helping my sister who has had cancer. The vet in Ohio also gave Binky a shot of antibiotics and I decided to take him home with me to Colorado. He has been neutered and is doing better. However, I am 63 years old with allergies and asthma, and I have 8 other healthy cats that I have rescued. I really need a foster home for Binky SOON, a permanent home OR a shelter for feLV cats. I am willing to drive him to wherever! I live in the Loveland, CO area and my email address is chiefstardust@yahoo.com. PLEASE HELP ME AND CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Binky is grey and white and wants to be affectionate. He is a very sweet cat. Thanks so very much! Victoria vrenger@weldre5j.k12.co.us
Easter Sunday,2009-
"Angel" is a young, beautiful, extremely affectionate, all white cat with golden eyes who just happens to be a carrier for feline leukemia. She is healthy and may stay healthy for years and years - just like any cat. Angel was in a nice home until her owner lost it and had to move in with a friend - who has severe asthma. Angel then had to move into a dog kennel in NE Ohio, into a cage that was recently occupied by another positive cat who was there for months until he finally hit the jackpot and found a great home, with other positive kitties. To see the pictures of that cat now, sleeping with his new buddies in his glorious freedom, and knowing he is much loved and no longer in a dark basement within a few feet of barking dogs, is wonderful. But to know that this sweet Angel is now going through it, and how she must be wondering what happened that she would wound up like this, is heartbreaking. Can anyone provide a home for this kitty in Ohio? Transportation is provided. Please contact llc114@aol.com or call 440-775-0609.
I live in the suburbs of Nashville, TN. Sweet Callie came running up to my house one day in Dec when a friend was leaving. After 2 days and temps dropping, we let her into our office and fed her. She is wonderful but is FELV+, and my other 2 are not. I am very worried about passing the disease and we want to find a good home for Callie. Gail Staub gailstaub@comcast.net
Dear Folks,
. A large male cat appeared in my yard last summer. He was a regular in the neighborhood, and the kids called him Dirty Kitty. He was stray, and he sometimes chased my young male cat Leo up a tree. As winter approached, I felt sorry for him, and I began to feed him. He then brought his family around: 4 kittens and a mom. I trapped each one and got them all spayed and neutered, and they each got two shots, for rabies and distemper. I took all the kittens and the mom into our house, and I left only Dirty Ktty, renamed Mr. Spots, outside. He survived the cold winter living in my garage and coming to the door for food. Then, recently, he got sick, and his eyes had goop coming out of them. I took him to the vet who tested him and found out he is FIV positive. The vet gave him a big antibiotic shot, which cleared the eye problem up, and I took him home, determined to keep him in his own room apart from my other cats. That just didn't work. He pushed the door open regularly, and he attacked two of my other cats. He tried to attack my cat Leo when Leo was in my arms, and I wound up running away from him and yelling for help. He has also bitten me and my daughter, though not hard. I was unable to keep him in the house, and I put him outside.
I called my vet, and he recommended that I put Mr. Spots down, because he is too dangerous to keep in the house, and he is a danger to other cats if he stays outside. I am trying to think of another alternative. I could put him in our garage, which has a dog door in the back that leads to a pen with a very high fence around it. I am wondering if Mr. Spots could live there. I also wonder if it's possible to have his teeth removed, so he cannot bite, and/or to give him medicine to prevent him from being aggressive.
Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.I don't want Mr. Spots to have a miserable life, and I don't want to live in fear of a cat harming my cats or biting us humans. But I don't want to kill this boy either. He has a gentle side, which he exhibits much of the time.

In November 2008, I sadly found a dying Maine Coon cat in the snow. He was extremely skinny; it would make you cry. Almost all of his hair was gone and he was so week, he could barely move his head. The vet said, hair loss occurs as the last stage before death. I took him home and bundled him in blankets to get him warm. Then offered water and canned food. He was so hungry, he laid his entire face and upper body on the plate of food, while he ate. After the weekend passed, I took him to the vet, who immediately prescribed antibiotics and deworming medicine. I also did a blood work-up and unfortunately he tested positive for FIV. I took him home and after 2 weeks of around the clock attention, nursed him back to a fairly good state of health. His hair began to grow back, bushy tail and full mane. He began to play and even chase fluffy toys. He allowed me to cut his nails and began to show affection by butting heads with me, purring, and talking. Although, he barely had a voice but more of a little squeak, as it was that sick. I found a gentleman, who is a manager at a retail store, who told me he always wanted a Maine Coon cat. I told him all about the 2 to 3 year old kitty, I named Charlie. That he was FIV positive and what it meant. Special diet of protein, must always be kept inside, needed to be fixed after he was healthy enough, must be protected due to his poor immune system and if ever hurt, that he would take him to a vet for treatment. He agreed to all of this and we put it in writing. Before handing him off, I took Charlie to another vet and had him retested. Again, he was positive.I bought a case of EVO Chicken and Duck high protein canned food, numerous toys, blankets, cat nip, and a bag of Solid Gold and Fromm. I also bought a can of Transfer Factor Vitamins, and printed numerous articles for the gentleman on how to care for FIV cats. All of this I gave to him in hopes for a great new beginning for Charlie.I would have kept Charlie myself, except I already have over 12 cats ( that were either abused or abandoned, that are not full breeds which no one wanted) and had just gone through an F3 Tornado where my home and yard were destroyed. I was able to find all of my cats, but to date, most are not with me but with relatives, as I still have no home of my own. I could not turn my back on this little guy, even with my current situation. I spent over $300 on his medical bills and skipped my meals to do so. For the first month, the new owner told me how Charlie slept with him and how they were bonding. I was elated. Then came Christmas, and I was told that Charlie was great, except he was having some loose stools.I suggested rice and boiled chicken and also stressed that he needs to continue feeding the better foods and not something cheap from Walmart. That diet was very important.A few weeks ago, I received another email. That even though Charlie was a great cat, he didn't feel he could care for Charlie the right way.I agreed to take him back, when he also wrote that he has been letting Charlie out. Not once, but several times. He did not go to look for him and by luck because of cold freezing temperature and snow storms, that Charlie after a week's time did manage to come back. He also never got Charlie fixed as he had promised to do-- in writing. He then went on to tell me that Charlie had gotten two bite wounds on his neck, that he was trying to take care of. Again, in our agreement, this gentleman was to seek professional help if Charlie were to ever get injured. He agreed never to let Charlie out because of being FIV positive and had disregarded all that he had agreed to. I have called many friends, vets, animal shelters, and high-bred cat rescues, but am told that Charlie would be better off being euthanized, as there are many cats in good health that need adoption first. That these hard decisions as this are made everyday and it would be better for him--than spending the rest of his life in a small cage. With the current economy more and more people are bringing their cats in--and fewer are adopting. Charlie being FIV positive will make him the last to be adopted. I can't help to think, how Charlie was neglected to begin with by his original owner, close to death and why he became FIV positive.
This man still has Charlie and is waiting to hand him back to me, except I have no where for Charlie to go to. The place I am in temporarily....I am moving out of. Most new rental places frown on pets and make it very difficult or simply say "No Pets". I am running out of time, as we are getting a snow storm starting tonight with temperatures again dropping down below zero. I have no idea if Charlie is inside or out at this point... but feel he is being neglected.
Is there anyone in my area that you can direct me to? Someone that could just foster him for a while till I can find a good home. Please Help. Desperate in Wisconsin. Angela (262) 723-2097 abrooksr@gmail.com

Daisy was found by a neighbor and was going to take her to a kill shelter if she wasn't claimed or adopted. Since I couldn't allow this, I took her in. At the vet, we found out that she was not only FeLV+, but also pregnant. She will be due in about 4-5 weeks. She is the sweetest cat with a very funny personality. She loves to tell you about her day and purrs non-stop. She needs a loving home and so do her kittens. PLEASE HELP DAISY!!! =^..^= She is extremely friendly and will be good with other animals. She will need to be an indoor cat and only around other cats that are FeLV+/FIV+.

They are a mother/daughter duo that we rescue back in May. They have both been spayed and fattened up. They tolerate our mini dachshund and sometimes even try "playing" with her, mostly they really enjoy lounging around together. Maya will be three this coming spring and Harvey (yes she is a female, with a boy's name) will be two this spring. They are the sweetest cats and we hate to part with them, but we took them in as rescues and have four cats of our own.
They tested positive for feline luekemia when we took them into the vet. They are both extremely healthy, and looking at them you wouldn't think anything is wrong with them.
We are looking for a home for Maya and Harvey where they can live out thier lives in a warm home, with each other's company. They come with two litter boxes, a self feeder, self waterer, cat stand, a bucket of their favorite litter, an 18 pound bag of their food. We would love to talk more with you, and see if Maya and Harvey are a good fit.
Please feel free to email sarbygirl@hotmail.com or call (541) 520-4744. We are located in Oregon.
Here at Dreamy Draw Cat Hospital, we have an approx 2yr old exceptionally nice cat we are trying to place. He was a stray and has tested positive for FIV(confirmed by Western Blot) and tested positive for leukemia on his screening test but was negative on the confirmatory test so it is recommended to recheck that test in 3 mos (which will be the first of March). He appears to be in good health and is very sweet--a lap cat. He loves to be held and be the center of attention! He has been neutered, and will make a great pet!

Jacques is a loving one year old neutered male, who is FLV positive. He loves to cuddle in your arms & purr. Because we already have cats at home, we are unable to adopt him.
